Curtain tapes - Pleating tape
tapes don't only serve as an aid for hanging out the laundry, but they are rather an important design element for the individual pleating of tapes for window decoration. They are made of polyester, resistant to washing and cleaning and guarantee through their stiffness an optimal stability of the pleats and smooth, pucker-free areas.
The transparent 1-pleating tape band already contains designed pleats which are formed by pushing the curtain fabric on the pull cords. The advantage of this curtain tape is that the exact folds occur on their own and hence also a great time saving is achieved. On the back, there are pockets into which the hooks are inserted.
Pencil pleating tape
Always a favourite layout of the free folding of a curtain is the classic pencil pleating tape with a height of 7.5 cm and seven pockets for hanging any hooks. It has pre-set pleating crowns in regular intervals. The pleats are created by the puckering curtain. For the puckering of the curtain its interwoven drawstring is pulled out. The pull of the interwoven threads produces slim, elegant folds. The pencil pleating tape is well suited for opaque fabrics and is often used for curtain rails with short running distances. It suits all kinds of rails and bars.
By inserting the hooks to the wave band clear, uniform and undulated pleats are created. The waves remain at an accurate distance fixed to each other and create a uniform look. Due to the transparent material, the waveband is also ideal for transparent stores.
If you decide for eyelets instead of pleating tapes, we will gladly assemble for you the eyelet curtains with appropriate bars. Due to the equal distances of the manufactured eyelets, there emerge great regular pleats. For this we offer eyelets with a diameter of 40 mm which we recommend optically suitable for bars with inside tracks of 20 - 28 mm.
